I am a British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) Registered Student Teacher. I have been practising yoga for 10 years and have recently completed my British Wheel of Yoga Teaching Diploma. I also have a degree is Dance and Professional Practice and 7 years experience as an Arts Administrator and Dance Educator.

I came to yoga through dance. A dancer all my life, I discovered the benefits of yoga whilst training in contemporary dance at University. Since my dance training I have worked for DanceEast, in Ipswich, England, and while there gained experience in teaching dance before progressing to teaching yoga in recent years. In 2009 I gained a British Wheel of Yoga Foundation 1 qualification and completed my teaching Diploma in 2012.

I have found yoga to be a stabilising influence on my body and my life and hope to offer the same to my students. I try to offer a yoga class that gives people the time and space to focus on themselves, their body and in turn their breath and their mind. By giving the body the opportunity to ease through postures, build deep supporting strength and add flexibility and internal space the whole of body inside and out is enhanced.

I moved to Sotogrande, Spain with my husband and 3 year old, daughter in Summer 2013 and am looking forward to building my portfolio of yoga and dance classes, one to one sessions and yoga holidays over the next few years.
